 The heat dissipation of high-power LED street lights still depends on several aspects:


1. Design of heat dissipation fins for the lamp body;

This question is very good. You are also a major issue in the high-power LED lighting industry, especially the heat dissipation problem of high-power LED street lighting, which has always been a problem. The heat dissipation problem of high-power LED lamps cannot be simply said to be a problem with the lamp beads or the design of the lamps. This problem must be divided into two aspects:


1. The high-power LED lamp beads themselves can be used as street lamps with advantages such as high production technology, good technical content, and low light attenuation. A major technical issue with current LED street light products is the chip and structure of the LED lamp beads, which directly affect the stability and quality of the LED lamp products. Poor heat dissipation is reflected in the increased light attenuation and earlier time of the LED beads, as well as the shortened lifespan of the internal components of the LED power source, causing easy damage to the driving power supply. At present, there are many manufacturers of lamp beads, lamps, and driver power supplies in China, but the quality and lifespan of products depend on the designer‘s product design to better solve these two or three problems.


In the current situation where high-power LED beads and chips with generally good quality are imported from abroad, our domestic high-power LED bead manufacturers usually further process chips from different brand manufacturers. Of course, the production technology of LED chips still needs to be improved in terms of cost and heat dissipation, in order to facilitate the further development of the LED industry. However, LED bead manufacturers are currently solving the problems of the above chips, There is not much ability or assistance. Based on this, the current chip has not changed much, and the policy of starting with deficiencies and then making up for them is that lamp manufacturers should fully consider the heat dissipation of lamp beads when designing lamps. This results in different lamp structures produced by different manufacturers having different lifespans and different qualities. In addition, all manufacturers are working together towards low-cost and low-priced lamp solutions, This has further created a worrying situation in the current market for LED lighting products.


On the other hand, LED driver power supply is also one of the main factors that directly and fatally affect the entire lifespan of LED lamps. Currently, most products in the LED power supply market pursue a situation of low price and no demand for quality. As long as the lights can be turned on and customers can handle it, they design the power supply with the mentality of being able to grab an order at a lower price. The mentality of this group of people is not to think of any plans to improve product efficiency, to achieve products with high power factor PF>95 or higher, and to design power supplies with the goal of achieving 90% or higher effective power. Not many people are dedicated to improving the quality of the product, and whether the product can ensure the durability of the entire lamp for 50000 hours or 100000 hours or more is a higher requirement for development. Currently, there are not many LED lighting products that can achieve a light attenuation life of less than 0.3-0.5% after 20000 hours, let alone products that can ensure a light attenuation of less than 50000 hours or 100000 hours. The development of LED lights by people around the world is based on the correct path of becoming more environmentally friendly, energy saving, and reducing heat emissions.
